4. Guided Kayak Nature Tour

Bring the family kayaking through the tidal creeks and salt marshes that surround Hilton Head Island. The two-hour guided kayak tours are led by knowledgeable, personable interpretive naturalist guides. Our guides use their local insight to read tides and lead your group on the best route, looking for seasonal wildlife, and making stops to talk about the rich history and culture. Conducted at a leisurely pace, this “nature hike” on water is Hilton Head Kayaking at it’s very best. Our Hilton Head kayak tours are perfect for the whole family and designed for all experience levels.

3. The Outback

One of our signature programs and an exceptional value from Outside! The Outback begins with a guided boat trip where the captain shares stories of the Lowcountry. Upon arriving at Outside’s private island, Page Island, your Captain/Guide will take you through a brief paddle clinic before embarking on a paddle through the Daufuskie nature web. This area boasts beautiful vistas, abundant wildlife and a unique history. The kayaking portion lasts about 90 minutes and is suitable for all ages and skill levels.

2. Kayak Fishing

Truly a unique fishing experience! Kayaks allow you to get into the small waterways that boats cannot, allowing you to cast out in some untouched spots of the salt marsh. While you’re fishing, you can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the tidal salt marsh. Our guides are not only skilled in the sport, but they are also passionate about it. Let them share their kayak fishing knowledge and experience with you. Kayak Fishing excursions are limited to three guests and an interpretive naturalist guide. Outside kayak fishing excursions include your guide, bait, tackle, and kayak rental.
