The three-hour Solar Eclipse Excursion will include a backwater boat trip with a naturalist Captain equipped with interesting information related to the eclipse, such as the abnormal drop in temperature that is likely to occur in conjunction with the event and how area wildlife might respond with unusual behavior. Participants will recieve NASA-certified solar eclipse glasses to view the eclipse which will start in the Lowcountry at 1:15PM and end at 4:09PM. The maximum eclipse (98% in the Lowcountry) will occur at 2:46PM and last approximately two minutes.
