DAY Camps for Kids
Offered early June through August 2010
Outside Hilton Head has been conducting youth outdoor education programs and camps on Hilton Head Island since 1979. Our staff of trained outdoor educators and naturalists is highly qualified and enthusiastic. We insure that all programs are safe, fun and educational. For Summer 2010 choose from our 2-day Discovery Days or Eco-Venture, one-day Teen Activites or half-day to multi-day programs on Page Island. Page Island is Outside Hilton Head's 30-acre private island, a true nature preserve in the heart of the Lowcountry!

OHH Kids Camps

Discovery Days for ages 7 to 10
An engaging camp for young adventurers that combines environmental eduacation with kayaking and lots of FUN! Activities revolve around interpretive beach walks, marsh paddles and games.
Eco-Venture for ages 11 to 14
Older campers will learn the basics of kayaking while developing an understanding of the natural world through hands-on study of coastal ecology. An emphasis on FUN makes this camp very popular.

Teen Kayaking
Two hours of on-the-water FUN! Kayaking, crabbing, games and more.
Teen Tube Night
An hour and a half of Great Wet Fun!
Adventure Island for ages 12 to 15
A boat ride to secluded and private Page Island is just the beginning. Once there, teens will kayak through tidal marshes and investigate the island's habitat. They will also enjoy fishing, crabbing, tubing and games. Hands-on exploration of the coastal environment at it's most FUN. Teens should bring a bagged lunch.
