4 hour Pinckney Island Birding & Beachcombing Paddle
Want an extended paddle that highlights the best of the coastal lowcountry? This is for you. Departing from the Pinckney Island Kayak Center at Hudson's Restaurant, you'll explore the nature and learn about the history and culture of a great saltwater eco-system. We will paddle along Skull Creek (ask your guide why it is called this) and the banks of the Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge. Stop at a shell bank or remote beach for bird watching, exploring and discovering.
Tuesday and Thursday Mornings
March, April, September and October from 9 am to 1 pm
May through August from 8 am to noon
$75 per person
All guides are trained interpretive naturalists and kayak experts.
All tours include instruction, equipment and guide, snack and refreshment.
Custom Excursions
The lowcountry hosts a myriad number of unique paddling opportunities. We offer guided kayak tours of the May River, the New River, the Okatie and Colleton River, and the ACE basin. Trips vary in length from 4 hours to 6 hours. Call us at 800.686.6996 for more information.
