Charter Fishing with Outside Hilton Head
In-shore fishing focuses on the local Redfish (also called Red Drum or Spot-Tail Bass). Spin or fly casting is available with expert guides in flats boats or power catamarans appropriate to group size and conditions.
Near-shore and Off-shore fishing varies considerably with the season, ranging from sport fishing for Tarpon, Cobia, Spanish & King Mackeral, Bluefish, Ladyfish, and more.
Fall/Winter Fishing Report:
Capt. Jimmy's fishing report for the Fall/Winter: Speckled Trout are in abundance in the Fall and are a fun fish to catch on light tackle and also an excellent fish to eat. It is not uncommon to catch your limit of Trout in the fall, they average 1.5-2.5lbs. Redfish and Flounder are also plentiful in the Fall due to the abundance of bait fish and shrimp that are in the inshore creeks. Sightfishing for tailing Redfish is still very good. As the water temps cool large (Bull) Redfish begin to school right off the beaches of Hilton Head and average 20-35lbs.!
