What To Bring: 3-Hr Family Ski Day
For an optimum experience on your adventure with us, please review the following:
___ Recommended attire is that which would be comfortable for a walk on the beach that day. The boat ride can be cool, even on a warm day , so bring outwear appropriate to the temperature with a “wind chill” (windbreaker and insulating layer, as necessary). You can compare it to being outside in the current temperature but with an air conditioner blowing directly on you.
___ Sun protection is important, regardless of the weather or season. We strongly recommend a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
___ During spring and fall mornings and evenings, bug spray might be necessary.
___Swimwear and towels.
What To Bring: 4.5-Hr Outback Tour
For an optimum experience on your adventure with us, please review the following:
___ Recommended attire for paddling is that which would be comfortable for a walk on the beach that day. Swimsuits are not necessary, but are permitted. You may have water drip off your paddle. Other than that, we don’t expect to get wet or do any swimming, although it may be an option when conditions are appropriate. The boat ride can be cool, even on a warm day , so bring outwear appropriate to the temperature with a “wind chill” (windbreaker and insulating layer, as necessary).
___ Footwear that would stay on your foot in the water is required. Sport sandals such as Tevas or Chacos are recommended, and old sneakers are fine, too. Sandals must attach around the ankle, so no flip-flops, please.

The 4.5-Hour Outback Tour offers a combination of both a great kayak nature tour led by a trained interpretive naturalist guide in a remote, pristine location, along with an outstanding boat-based eco tour covering a wide area of the lowcountry estuaries. No experience is necessary. This program is suitable for ages 3 and up.

___ FOOTWEAR: Shoes that will stay on your feet, and can get wet.
___ Loose Fitting Clothing Lightweight long-sleeved or short-sleeved shirt and pants. Long sleeves and pants offer protection from sun and bugs.
___ Sun protection is important, regardless of the weather or season. We strongly recommend a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.
___ Bottle of water.
___ During spring and fall mornings and evenings, bug spray might be necessary.
___ Medications that you might need during the day, including allergy medicine.

The 2-Hour Boat/Eco Tour offers an outstanding boat-based eco tour covering a wide area of the lowcountry estuaries. No experience is necessary. This program is suitable for ages 3 and up.

___ Bottled water is recommended.

___ Short-lived afternoon rain showers are typical throughout the coastal lowcountry. We have two covered platforms on Page Island, but you might be more comfortable bringing along a light rain jacket if you’d like to stay “dry.” (“Dry” is a relative term in the humid climate of the southeast, and we locals welcome a refreshing rain shower to cool off on a hot day!)
___ We do have restrooms (head units like you’d find on a boat) and running water (via foot pump) for washing.
___ Swimsuits are not necessary, but are permitted. Taking a dip off the dock may be an option when conditions are appropriate. Footwear is required while swimming. Bring a towel if you’d like.
